K9PawPrints offers six fenced areas to exercise your dog.   

PRIVATE DOG PARK: 

$5 per visit (1 dog per person) or $165 Annual Member (2 dogs per person) 

Pen 1, 2, and 3 are considered our private Dog Park.  Tuesday and Saturday evenings are supervised to make sure we ahve well socialed, friendly dogs playing safely together.  For this private dog park your first visit must be by appointment and without your dog.  This gives us an opportunity to give you a tour of our facility and for you to see dogs in action playing.  Dogs play rough.  Safety is top priority here.  This also is a good time to complete paperwork.  Your dog's current veterinary records must be on file before your dog can come to play.

Your second visit, also by appointment, will be with your dog.  You and your dog can run and play in pen 2 while your dog watches dogs playing in pen #1 and can interact with them through the fence.  As your dog gets use to the other dogs playing next door, we will bring one dog that appears to be friends with your dog and place it in the same pen with your dog.  This sometimes takes two or three visits to get to this point.  There is no sense in rushing the process.  Your dog is here to run and play and will have plenty of room to do that.  It's important to evaluate who your dog will like to play with.  

Your initial visits must be consistent and regular for us to acclimate your dog into the established group of dogs who have been playing here for many months.  Inconsistency will cancel the assessment process.  All new dogs are in a probational phase for 6 months.

Eventually we will have added enough dogs to pen 2 with your dog that they have created friendships and are like a pack of themselves.  At this point we can open the gate to pen #1 and join your dog and his pack of friends with the remaining dogs in pen #1.

After three visits and all is going well, you will have an opportunity to join PawPrints as an annual member.  Annual members get to use the building 24/7.  If there is a long absence in your early assessment/socialization phase then, for safety reasons, we need to start all over in acclimating the dogs to each other.

PUBLIC DOG PARK:

$5 per dog per visit.  Pre-registration required.  Policed (rules followed); not supervised

Pens 3, 4, 5, and 6 are specialty pens.  Pre-registration and current vaccination records must be filed before your dog can participate.

These dog park visits are a great opportunity to make new friends, both human and canine.  We have many interesting conversations and you will learn allot about dog body language and behavior. Jean monitors Pen 1, 2, and 3 on Tuesday and Saturday evenings and explains why dogs act the way they do.  All pens are monitored by staff and each other.

You are expected to be active with your dog and be a part of his fun. We keep our fees low so you can afford to have fun with your dog(s).  It is the responsibility of clients to keep veterinary records current, grounds clean, and activity fun.  Bring your own drinking water and poop clean up bags.
