K9 PawPrints RULES
Dog owners/handlers are personally responsible and legally responsible for their animals. You are using this facility at your own risk, and are personally and legally liable for injuries or damage caused by your dog. Jean Nakaerts, her family or insurance can not be held responsible for you and your dog’s participation in this event. An annual waiver must be signed and current veterinary records on file to participate. Your first visit must be on a Tuesday or Saturday evening without your dog. Your second visit must be on a Tuesday or Saturday evening with your dog.
Dogs may be off a leash only within the designated fenced area. All dogs must have a leash available.
Dogs must be on leash when outside the doggie park designated fenced area.
Owners/handlers must be within visual and vocal range of their dog at all times. If owner/handler has to leave fenced area, out of sight or hearing of dog, then a friend needs to take responsibility of supervising dog or dog needs to be crated outside fenced area until owner can again monitor their dog.
Owners/handlers must clean up after their dogs immediately.
Dogs must have a current license and vaccinations. License must be on dogs' collar, the collar must be on the dog. Flat collars (no prong, spike or slip) only in fenced area. ID tags MUST be on all collars.
Aggressive dogs and humans are not allowed. The owner/handler of any dog(s) exhibiting aggressive or unruly behavior are required to immediately remove the offending animal. Off leash does not mean out of control for anyone.
For every one dog brought to the park, there must be one owner/handler to monitor each dog.
No children under the age of 14 years old allowed in fenced area.
All dogs must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age.
Consumption of alcohol, food, smoking, drugs and the use of glass containers are not allowed.
No long lasting chewies allowed in fenced area.
Bring your own dog’s water bowl.
Humans must stay off equipment.
Jean Nakaerts reserves the right to close the facility for maintenance and repair.
No digging.
No dogs allowed to be left in cars.
Respect each other.
You are welcome to bring your own chairs and/or toys. Dog toys must be shared with all dogs and must be removed if causing a conflict.
Humans may bring a can of soda (no glass) into the fenced area. If you remove the tab, then dispose of it in the wastebasket outside the fenced area.
